WHAT IS 'OMENS'?
in short: 'omens' is the working title of a (likely overambitious) au worldbuilding project & continuation of the pokémon anime; following the trials and tribulations of everyone's least favourite chosen one as he grows from fledgling champion into the atlas of an increasingly strange, dark and chaotic pokémon world.
the project has gone through many concepts and reworks since 2010, when i first began writing an older version of ash on gaiaonline, and as it stands it's become a sprawling extended universe featuring entire new regions, new characters, new pokémon, new lore, new everything. if i'd have known that rping ash on a whim at age 17 would have lead to a decade-long hyperfixation, i might have thought twice, but here we are! i hope you'll roll with me on my (apparently) neverending quest to get all of these concepts out on paper for everyone to enjoy.
presently, most of this work exists in scattered drawings and lore dumps. it's been difficult to start it proper as many things about are still constantly developing. but i'm really hoping that as it continues to solidify, i can finally put it into a fic, an anthology of sorts, or even a set of comics. and i hope you can all appreciate and enjoy this weird little labour of love with me.

although i've gone through more than my share of broken laptops, broken phones and my bad habit for deleting, i've still got a collection of my art from over the years! who knows, maybe one day i'll be able to unearth the 2010-2012 ash stuff too, but for now at least we have some stuff to look back on.
